While I was at the Grimsby Art Festival I was lucky enough to meet a local Grimsby resident who commissioned me to paint a Duck for a special spot in her home.  Here is what I created for her….

It was my first commissioned art work and when I presented it to her tonight she loved it!!!  It is so exciting to be able to create art for other people and see their face when I show them.  If you like the duck painting let me know by posting a comment on my website.  I will have “duck” prints and cards for sale at the Maplecrest Christmas bazaar on Nov. 16th.  Hope to see you there!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, time to start thinking about Christmas!  I am excited to once again be invited to the  Maplecrest Christmas Bazaar.  Mark your calendars for Saturday November 16th from 10am-2pm.  I will be releasing my new Christmas painting, which will be available in Large and Small cards and also as a print in many different sizes.  I will keep you posted on the details of my new print and I might even post an advance copy of it on my website prior to the bazaar.
