Olivia is the recipient of 3rd place in the Grimsby Heritage Art competition.  In creating her artwork Olivia took a photograph of one of the Grimsby Beach cottages, see below and then transferred the picture onto a canvas.  Then she painted a scene around the picture of the cottage with acrylic paints.  Thanks to her art teacher Lisa at the Stoney Creek School of Art  for helping with the photo transfer process.

The award winners will be presented with certificates at the Grimsby’s Town Council meeting on Monday March 7th.  Stop by the Grimsby Art Gallery where the winning artwork will be on display until mid March.
